  • 1 pack of The Lottie
  • 2 cans original baked beans
  • ½ onion, small diced
  • 1 green bell pepper, small diced
  • 1 small jalapeno, minced
  • 2 garlic cloves, microplaned
  • ½ cup ketchup
  • ½ cup bbq sauce
  • ¼ cup brown sugar 
  • 2 tbsp yellow mustard
  • 1 tsp sriracha 
  • A splash of apple cider vinegar


  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees and heat a dutch oven over medium heat. 
  2. Cut The Lottie into slices and sear them in the dutch oven. Remove the Lottie slices and set aside. 
  3. Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a pot and add onions. Saute until soft (about 5-6 mins). 
  4. Add in the diced bell pepper, jalapeno and garlic. Cook until soft and aromatic (5-8 mins).
  5. Add in the beans and stir so that the veggies are fully incorporated. 
  6. Stir in the ketchup, Bbq sauce, mustard, sriracha, a splash of apple cider vinegar and ¼ cup brown sugar. 

- Tip: Taste & add more brown sugar if like it sweeter (we do)! 

7. Season with salt and add the Lottie slices back in. 

8. Bake for 30 mins for best results! :)
