The Lottie: Pigs In a Blanket
Our favorite "big kid hot dog" all wrapped up. This is an elevated pigs in a blanket perfect for any occasion and requires only a few ingredients & < 30 min!
INGREDIENTS
- 1 Pack of THE LOTTIE
- 1 Puff Pastry Dough [or Croissant Dough]
- 3 TBSP Pepper Jelly [or your favorite jam, we like The Jam Stand Sweet Onion Wino]
- 1 TBSP of Seasoning [Salt or Poppyseeds or Everything But the Bagel Seasoning]
- 1 Egg
DIRECTIONS
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees
- Roll out the puff pastry dough on a lined baking sheet and cut into squares
- Spread a dollop of jam onto each square
- Slice the Lottie into ¼ inch pieces and place on each square and roll into a little blankie!
- Mix one egg with a tablespoon of water to create an egg wash and coat lightly on each rolled up dog!
- Sprinkle with salt or seasoning of your choice!
- Bake at 375 for 20-30 min until golden brown on top.
- Enjoy!
