INGREDIENTS
Bratwurst and Brussels Hash:
- 1 pack Lottie’s Bratwurst, sliced into coins
- 1 lb brussels sprouts, quartered
- 1/2 red onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Shredded or shaved parmesan for serving
Herby Honey Mustard Drizzle:
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp vinegar (we like red wine vinegar or sherry vinegar)
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tsp honey
- 2 tsp mustard (Dijon or brown mustard)
- 1 tbsp finely chopped parsley
- 2 scallions, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
DIRECTIONS
- Combine all ingredients to make the herby honey mustard drizzle
- Chop Brussels sprouts, Lottie’s Bratwurst and red onion, and mince the garlic
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat
- Heat 2 tbsp olive oil, add bratwurst, Brussels sprouts and red onion and stir to combine. Then add the 2 cloves of minced garlic.
- Cook until sausage is browned and Brussels sprouts start to char and have softened
- Remove from heat and coat in herby honey mustard drizzle
- Finish with a drizzle of honey, more parsley and green onion
- Serve with shredded or shaved parmesan (optional, but yes is the obvious choice) 😀
