Grilled Bratwurst & pretzel kabobs with honey mustard dip

INGREDIENTS

For the Skewers:
  • 1 pack Lottie’s Bratwurst
  • 1 package soft pretzel bites (King’s Hawaiian or similar)
  • 1 package wooden skewers
For the Glaze:
  • ½ stick butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon pickled mustard seeds (or yellow mustard seeds)
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • Pinch of salt
  • Pinch of onion powder
For the Dip:
  • ¼ cup mayo
  • ¼ cup stone ground or Dijon mustard (or your favorite mustard)
  • 2 tablespoons honey

DIRECTIONS

  1. Prep the Skewers:
Cut Lottie’s Bratwurst into 4–5 bite-sized pieces (about 1 inch each). Thread brat pieces and pretzel bites onto skewers, alternating between the two. Aim for 6–8 pieces per skewer.
  2. Make the Glaze:
In a small bowl, whisk together melted butter, Worcestershire sauce, mustard seeds, Dijon mustard, salt, and onion powder.
  3. Make the Dip:
In another bowl, mix mayo, mustard, and honey until smooth. Set aside for serving.
  4. Grill the Skewers:
Place skewers on a grill or flat-top over medium heat. Cook, turning occasionally, until the brat pieces are golden and heated through.
  5. Grill & Finish:
Brush the skewers generously with the glaze while cooking. For extra flavor, brush again after removing from heat. Serve warm with honey mustard dip on the side!
