SOUP INGREDIENTS
- 1 Pack Everyday Sausage
- 2 Packets of Pikora Chicken Bone Broth
- 6 Cups of Water
- 2 Zucchinis sliced into thin rounds
- 1 Cup Orzo
- 1 tsp Garlic Powder
- Salt and Pepper to taste
PESTO INGREDIENTS
- 3-4 Cups Fresh Basil
- 1/4 Cup Parmesan
- 1/2 Cup Olive Oil
- 1/4 Cup Hazelnuts (Feel free to sub with any type of nuts on hand!)
- 1 Garlic Clove
- Salt to taste
DIRECTIONS
- Blend all pesto ingredients in a blender until smooth and set aside.
- Roll ground sausage into tablespoon sized balls and fry on the pan until crispy and brown. Set aside.
- Fry zucchini on pan until brown and set aside
- Bring 6 cups of water to a simmer and add bone broth packets until dissolved. Bring to a simmer and add orzo. Add your sausage and zucchini back in. Simmer on medium low until orzo is cooked through (about 10 min).
- Serve with more grated parm and pesto.
