INGREDIENTS
- 8oz of Lottie’s Everyday Breakfast sausage
- 2 eggs
- 2 English Muffins or Bagels
- 2 slices American cheese
- ½ avocado, sliced
- 2 tbsp mayo
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tsp yellow or Dijon mustard
- ¼ tsp garlic powder
- Salt & pepper
- Butter, for scrambling
DIRECTIONS
- Divide the ground sausage into two equal portions and gently flatten into patties about ½ inch thick.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat with a drizzle of oil. Fry the patties 3–4 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through.
- In a nonstick pan, melt a bit of butter over low heat. Crack in the eggs and scramble gently until soft and just set. Season with salt and pepper.
- In a small bowl, mix together the mayo, maple syrup, mustard, and garlic powder until smooth. This is our fave secret special sauce combo!
- And assemble! Add sauce, cheese, sausage, avocado (optional) to toasted muffin or bagel and voila! Thee best breakfast sammy!
