Happy April Fools! We're not witty enough to come up with any pranks so you can let your guard down and read on.
For real, we were going to “fake launch” a new lottie dog 🌭 but we ran out of time and energy. So only good, wholesome new news ahead! ❤️
MARCH - THE MONTH OF LOTTIE'S MEATS ?!?
We loved the month of March: Lottie's birthday (and um, cough*cough, my birthday…), launching into 25+ new stores in California, and exhibiting at our first meat conference!
We spent most of this month out-and-about: doing grocery store demos or pop ups, meeting new customers IRL, and connecting with you all via email threads, online orders + DMs. Thank you for all of the support & encouragement this month - it was one for the books. ❤️
We wrapped the month feeling really energized and inspired (despite running on low fumes 😅).
So naturally, we asked ChatGPT, “what does it mean if your business is a Pisces?”
We wanted to know - is MARCH the month of Lottie's?
"Pisces energy can sometimes mean a lack of structure or clear boundaries, so staying grounded with solid timelines, logistics, and budgets is key"

(and why we are writing this newsletter at the final hour on the morning of April 1st without a prepped April Fools Joke !!! 😅 but with a lot of energy from our community - you all - and for what is to come). So with that, on to the next:
APRIL A MONTH OF COLLABS:
We have some exciting restaurant collabs and mini pop ups coming up this month so follow us to be the first in the know or check out our events calendar for more details.
A FEW HIGHLIGHTS
- We're heading back to the Midwest this week with some sausage samples at Sendik's in Milwaukee (4/3 and 4/4) AND bringing our fave Calabrian ground sausage to all Chicago Foxtrot stores. Come by Foxtrot Old Town on Friday, 4/4. from 4 - 6 pm to sample for yourself and take some home!
- Find us on the menu at Lou's Italian this month 🍝 and swing by this Saturday, 4/5 from 11 am to 1 pm to snag some samples & retail packs to go!
- We're also doing a fun little Squats & Brats moment at Alchemy on Sunday, 4/6 with friends from Jiant & Hazlo. Join a class and refuel with some local CO small businesses!
- Later this month, we will announce a special limited-time-only new menu item & pop up with a dream partner in CO. Any guesses? (hint: 🌯)
